On spreading of Antarctic Bottom Water in fracture zones of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 7–8°N

A Data-Interpolating Variational Analysis in n-dimensions was used to describe a potential temperature distribution the bottom layer of fracture zones Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 7–8°N. This analysis based on new digital terrain model obtained by supplementing STRM15+ bathymetry data with multibeam echo sounding from 33rd cruise research vessel
 Akademik Nikolaj Strakhov (2016) and oceanological World Ocean Database, supplemented CTD profiles reversing thermometer measured scientific cruises Shirshov Institute Oceanology, Russian Academy Sciences 2014–2016. 2D near-bottom study area calculated analysis. The allows us propose Antarctic Bottom Water propagation pattern through Doldrums, Vernadsky, Pushcharovsky zones. It is shown that water warms up when passing 1.4°C Fracture Zone 1.6–1.7°C Vernadsky Zone. fractures propagates two directions. Northernly, it Doldrums Zone, where its reaches about 1.9–2.0°C. Easterly, flows along raising 1.8–2.0°C. We absence Water's overflow less than 1.8°C East Atlantic area.
